2. Technical changes
DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, routing and sending-platform changes can cause email interruption, including interruption to legitimate messages. Confirm ownership, identify every legitimate sender, document the existing configuration, test where appropriate and keep a workable rollback before making a production change.
Do not copy an example record without adapting and validating it for the actual domain, provider and sending estate. If you are not authorised or confident, involve the responsible administrator or a qualified professional.
3. No delivery or security guarantee
SenderCompass gives no guarantee that an email will be accepted, reach the primary inbox, avoid spam filtering, remain off a blocklist or satisfy every provider requirement. Authentication can reduce risk and improve evidence, but it does not control every receiving provider or prevent every form of fraud.
4. Incidents and urgent help
This site is not monitored as an emergency service. If an account, domain or sending system may be compromised, stop unsafe changes and contact the responsible provider, administrator or qualified incident-response professional.
5. Third-party information and services
Third-party documentation, products, prices, tests and websites can change without notice. A link, mention or comparison does not transfer responsibility for the third party’s service or mean it is suitable for you. Review the provider’s current terms, privacy information, security documentation and contract.
6. Automated and AI-assisted outputs
Any future calculator, checker or AI-assisted explanation may be incomplete, delayed, based on public data or affected by parsing and provider errors. Treat the output as decision support. Verify important findings and obtain human review before changing production systems, entering a contract or relying on an output for legal, security or financial decisions.
7. Accuracy and currency
SenderCompass aims to use current sources and dated reviews, but standards, law, products and provider requirements change. Check the review date and primary source. Report suspected errors through the Corrections Policy.
8. Lawful limits
Nothing on this page excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Statutory rights are not affected.
