1. Principles
- Write for the reader’s decision, not for a search engine or merchant.
- Prefer primary standards, regulator and provider documentation.
- Distinguish checked fact, provider claim, observation, estimate and editorial judgement.
- Use clear language without pretending a complex decision has one universal answer.
- State uncertainty and unresolved evidence rather than filling gaps.
2. Sources
Technical and provider claims should link to relevant primary sources where practical. Search snippets and third-party summaries are discovery aids, not sufficient proof for a current commercial term or provider requirement.
3. Product reviews
A review should state the account or plan, test date, method, fixtures, relevant user profile and important limitations. Product access does not guarantee publication or a favourable conclusion.
4. Comparisons and rankings
Comparisons should align categories and criteria, explain trade-offs and avoid declaring a universal winner where suitability depends on context. Rankings will not be sold. A commercial relationship must not change an evidence score.
5. AI assistance
AI may assist with research organisation, drafting, formatting, test generation or visual exploration. Material technical, legal and commercial claims require source checking and human review. SenderCompass will not fabricate product testing, quotations, credentials or user experience.
6. Corrections
Readers can report a suspected error by emailing info@sendercompass.com with the page URL and supporting evidence. Material corrections should be reviewed promptly, dated and made transparently. A change that materially alters a recommendation should be identified rather than silently hidden.
7. Review dates and archived claims
Substantive guides, prices, provider requirements and affiliate terms should carry a reviewed or checked date. Superseded evidence should not be presented as current. Historical material should be labelled clearly if retained.
8. Conflicts of interest
Writers and reviewers should disclose ownership, employment, payment, free access, gifts and other interests that could reasonably affect trust. Where a conflict cannot be managed, SenderCompass should not publish the recommendation.
9. Contact
Editorial questions and corrections can be sent to info@sendercompass.com.
